Can't register my phone number

So, I'm trying to register my new phone number, since my old one got lost, but the form won't let me add the whole number - it grays out the "next" button, so I can't proceed.

The problem, I assume, is because recently, here in Brazil, all new phone numbers have a new digit (that makes for 13 in total), and the steam forms sees them as invalid numbers. I tried to contact the Steam Support to maybe add my number "manually", but everytime I click "Contact Steam Support" I get redirected to the support homepage.

Now, I would really like if someone at Steam support would read this and help me out. If they don't (and I imagine they won't), can I maybe contact them another way? As in via e-mail? Thanks in advance.

[UPDATE] Just got a response from a valve employee on Reddit: there is a fix coming out this week about the brazilian numbers.

You should still have your old number since you can't lose a phone number only the phone. The only way you get a new number is if you failed to pay your bill and it's been months since you paid it and your number went back into the number pool. Or you called to have your number changed.

Steam has no email address no phone support and they don't look at these message boards. You have to use the wizard to get support.
Click on help up top of the client then chose steam support. Then follow along with the on screen instructions.

Problem the time between me losing the phone and getting a new one is almost a year, so I canceled my old number and got a new one.

About the support, welp, guess I am all out of luck, then, because I can't contact the support through the wizard. It seems I'll have to wait until Steam decides to adress their terrible UI.

The mobile network something was probably not something Steam can't send messages to that's why you get rejected. You can always seek Steam to add the mobile network that your phone number is based on but I reckon that's gonna take long. It's better you use a fellow friend's number for a while and change it when you can finally use your phone number to steam. Steam accepts multiple accounts in one phone number.
