Steam Broadcasting not working

Is anyone else having trouble with the steam broadcast not working as I'm having trouble with having my friends watching my broadcast as I set it up fine with the video dimension set to 1280x720 and maximum bitrate 3500kbit/s and so on but its when my friends are watching my broadcast they say that they can't watch cause it keeps saying for them "unable to join the chat" and I have the broadcast privacy set to friends can watch my games and yet it they have trouble trying to watch it as my internet speed is 14.7 Mbps download and 13.8 Mbps upload with a Latency of 11 ms and it should handle broadcasting fine but my friends still can't connect as it keeps saying the same error

I'm guessing it´s just something broken with Steam Broadcasting at the moment.

EDIT: Try to change the server you are currently on.

Click on the steam button in the top left corner of the steam browser then click settings. Head to the Downloads+Cloud tab, from there you can select a new server location.

Yeah, I don't think there is anything wrong with your settings.
I used to watch tons of streams, I really liked that feature and it worked great in the past.
Still thinking there is something broken on Steam at the moment judging by the amount of recent postings. (Months and Days ago)

ah okay good so I guess I ain't the only one thats being affected as my server location is set to NZ (new zealand) which is where I'm at, at the moment

I will try it out aswell, when I am back home, just to make sure that it´s working or not.
