"Trending Among Friends" on store page exposes private profiles
Recent games played, recent purchases, and wishlist are visible to friends through this feature, even if the profile is private. Is this a bug? This information is normally not visible on a private profile.

They added a "lifetime" option too. Now you can see all the games your fiends have played and the number of hours even if those profiles are private

If I add someone for a specific game, I don't think they need to be able to see my entire collection. It doesn't really matter why. The option exists, and it isn't working correctly.

probably not. seeing as though you are friends on steam, still hiding your profile from them seems a bit excessive. if you dont want them to see it, why are you friends with them?

Being friends doesn't mean that they should see everything, isn't that why there's the "Private Profile" option which hides the profile from friends?
