1920 x 1080 = 16:9 / 1080p

720 x 576 = 4:3 / 576p

I you want to get rid of the black bars and stretch, I would choose 720p (1280x720) or 1080p.

Choosing a 16:10 or any other on a 16:9 monitor resolution always leaves you with black bars.

I want to stretch my 720:576 (which is 5:4 resolution) to 16:10 aspect ratio. so it will leave little black bars, 16:10-16:9 blackbars

NOT to 5:4 to 16:9 stretched without blackbars
If you want to use 16:10 resolutions and your OS only list 16:9 resolutions for a 16:9 monitor (duh)

If you really want the black bars, force a 16:10 resolution via your Nvidia Control Panel or AMD's CCC.

For Nvidia , you can click in CP on Display > Change Resolution > Customize
http://cdn.overclock.net/4/4c/4cefca9f_changeresolution.jpeg

That way you can force a 16:10 resolution on a 16:9 monitor.

You can find a list of 16:10 resolutions here :

Edit:

Make sure that your game is running in fullscreen, otherwise you won't get the desired effect you're looking for.
