Buying bundles for friend

I want to buy a bundle for a friend but I already own said bundle and it won't let me purchase it as a gift because "this bundle is personalized for your account." How do I unpersonalize it to buy the entire bundle for my friend?

That's stupid. Losing business, steam. Bit of an oversight with this new personalized bundle feature. You used to be able to purchase a bundle over again as a gift until they introduced this personalized stuff.

It is personalised for your account and your account only, meaning, if you wish to gift a game, you will have to purchase the games on their own.

And no, it isn't stupid. It is designed to give you the benefits.

I can't. He lives 500 miles away and won't be online until after the sale so I'm trying to by it for him before the sale is over.

Create new account. Buy game as inventory gift. Send game to friend?

EDIT: Won't work either. New payment method needs approval.

Tried it. Need a unique phone for authiticator. How do I actually contact Steam about this. I keep getting sent in circles

So got past authenticator. But still can't buy whole bundle as a gift in fresh account, only personal. Damn. Oh well. Guess there's no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way to do it anymore.
