How exactly can I block all anime content ?

I'm well aware of the tags to filter out, but I literally have - "Anime" / "Dating Sim" / "Visual Novel" , I've read other threads to no avail and am constantly barraged with Anime dating sim visual novels (and of course, their plethora of DLC's) when browsing the '492 GAMES ON SALE!!1!!' list. I Keep clicking 'not interested' on every one I scroll past in the hope that this makes some kind of change to what steam recommends, but no. Unless I'm missing something I'm not sure what else to do ?
If you're into this stuff, really, I'm not to judge but I absolutely hate it and it takes up 1/2 of the games listed when scrolling the games on sale, every, single, time..

Steam isn't very good at letting people filter stuff based on their own taste.

Aime is essentially an art style and a not well defined one at that. Street FIghter ,, Capcom x Namco/Bandai, KoF. Those can all be considered anime. Since it's just the artstyle, then yoiu have a problem filter it out and you basically risk the consumker blinding themselves to games they would like. That's why the matching uses a 'greedy match' If anime is the only tag a game has then you will have it filtered but this is rarely the case.

It works a bit better if you filter based on mechanics.

I have filtered mechanics, I still get these visual novel garbage games!
