Friend's library disappeared?

I've been able to play my brother's games for months. Yesterday, his library became inaccessible. he logged in to my computer, confirmed I was still authorized, and I tried again, but still nothing. Then later in the evening, it started working again.

Today, I tried to play one of his games and Steam tells me I have to request access to her library. When I try, I get the error, "In order to allow game sharing, the owner must login to this machine and enable Family Library Sharing here."

We checked again, and all of the settings are correct. he authorized my account and my computer to have access to his library, but Steam doesn't seem to see it. I think Gabelvampir is on the money - this is a system held together by tape and strings.

EDIT: My access to his library came back an hour later. Go figure.

Just popping in 24 hours later to post that my access is gone again. My brother is online, not playing on his Steam account, and my computer and my Steam account are still authorized to play his games.

they need to go into their account and click it and you need to go into your account then after both accounst conferm it then you can play their games

DUDE .... you almost read the damn post? , i already do that (like 10 times) and in the next day the games dissapear
