Can't follow or stop following authors in the workshop

since some time ago (more than half a year, maybe uch longer) i cannot follow any more authors in the steam workshop, not depending on games...
i can click on the button and it changes, but next time im on the profile's workshop or when i reload, its reset. I cannot follow any one new. I tested it the other way around and i also cant stop following authors, im currently following.
A really annoying situation, when you find new great mod creators and you cant follow them

It not depending on Games and i have the problem on different PCs and also in the Browser. So i guess it's a bug with my Profile

Does anyone has the same Problem and/or has a solution for this?

Because you can follow only 250 users, not more. So you have to remove some to watch others..
Yeah, it's sh*t..

All followers can be found under the friends tab.

Can't believe it's 2024 and still an issue. Should be able to follow an unlimited number of Workshop creators.
