Can I use the same controller on my PC and PS4?

I have a Xbone controller, but prefer using PS controllers. I was thinking about getting the PS4 wireless adapter to play PC games, but instead of buying a new controller I'd rather save $50 and just use the controller I already have for my PS4. Is there a way to pair it with my PC and keeping using it on my PS4?

You can use a DS4 controller pretty easily on PC. I assume you have an USB cable for it so you can use this tool: http://ds4windows.com/

You can also use Steam to map controllers, even the ps4 controller.

Be warned if you use steam or DS4, make sure your PS4 is totally off or just unplug it!!
If you don't then you might be controlling both your PS4 and your PC at the same time without noticing it. Worst case you might open the psn store and buy games by accident.
