Robocraft hack gone TERRIBLY WRONG! Help! (RESOLVED)

I installed a file called "robocraft_money_cheats_no_survey" and I was hoping it would let me have infinite Robits. (Also before I get further into this, I was going to put this disscusion on the Robocraft disscussions but only officers can. ANYHOW!) I moved it to the desktop, scanned it with Windows Defender and Kaspersky Antivirus and it checked out fine, so I opend the file wich has a disk logo on it that was the hack, thought the disk logo was nothing, and opend the installer inside the file with the disk logo, installed it, and robocraft was kinda screwed over... the "Heavy Artillary Brawl" or something announcment that was in the loading screen to advertize, wouldn't go away, and I had 0 robits, then I was like, "umm.... k...." So I tried to delete the file that had the disc logo on it and it wouldn't delete because it was "running." I checked task manager and didn't see it. Reserched the internet and opend up Control Panel and went to the uninstall tab, managed to uninstall the file that the installer installed, then I tried deleting the the disk logo hack file again, it was apperently STILL running.... I opend the disk logo file again, tried to delete the installer, there was no delete button on right-click................. "S***" Now I'm stuck with a disk logo hack file on my desktop! I can't even move it out of my desktop because its "running." I am now worried it is in reality a virus soon to burn out my expensive gaming PC.... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU(CENCORED)







Hey Microsoft! Yah you! Put in an undo feature that can undo litterally EVERYTHING! Or at the very least a "delete anyway i dont care" button!






Don't trust disk logo files! Delete them while they are in your "Downloads" file!





Resolution: Reboot, delete or it was MalwareBytes being like, "i don't care delete it anyway" when I tried to delete the file.

There already is an "undo" feature for Windows, and it's been there for years: System Restore.

You can also just kill the rogue process with Task Manager. Then download and run the free version of MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware to get rid of whatever you installed.

I recommend to start fresh.
Its easier to fix something than to fix aftermath of infection and leaked details.

Just got MalwareBytes thx to you and look at it go! Its making KasperskyLab and WindowsDefender look like they do nothing.

If you have a legitimate version of kaspersky AV, you should be fine. I find it to be the most relyable anti virus out there. it has never failed me, but i really have never installed anything i wasn't sure of, as in "where does it come from and what does it do".

what i would do is open kaspersky and do a complete scan of your system. it will take a while but if there is a virus it should find it. don't use windows AV at this point. kaspersky should have actually disabled it.

I must have missed the news, now antivirus is 100% safe and finds all virus, even new ones out of the box?
And it finds and reverts all the virus has done?

Not that I know of it just asked me to scan out of the box and a few minutes later I had 33 threats in quarintine.

MalwareBytes complete scan takes minutes, Kaspersky takes hours.
