I cant use steam anymore. With wifi it says "Fatal error Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again."
Steam was working fine with my new router and wifi for months until today i cant use steam at all. i have a decent WiFi connection but steam keeps giving me the error connection failed so i tried reinstalling but then it says Fatal error Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again. please help.

BRO....same here..dont know what to du..tried up all the primary solutions and suggestions available on you tube..reinstalled steam..reset my router configuration and ultimately reinstalled pc os...but still same prob exists,,:steamsad:

run steam>open task manger> kill steam task >then run steam again

Look in the menu to start by Internet Options (w10);
"Connections"
LAN Settings
Uncheck "Automatically detect settings"

OMG man...i re install the damn windows thinking there are some virus or malware on my pc... the only solution is this .. (still fuming from incomplete installation!!!) anyway :D .. thanks for the tip really solve my problem
