Question about using one account for local co-op
I was wondering if it's possible to use one account (or Family Share) to play local co-op.

Basically, for games like Don't Starve Together, Titan Quest, etc. would I be able to use my account on my PC, log in on a different account on a different PC, Family Share that game to the other account, and we both play?

Nope. Family shared libraries cannot be played on different accounts at the same time.

Is there any way we can achieve this? I've heard it's possible to play co-op with only one copy of the game if it's local. We wanted to play Divinity: Original Sin local co-op, but I can't stand using a controller with that game after having played it for so long with a keyboard and mouse.

No, that game has screen sharing/split screen, but you can't play on two pcs.

the shared libraries can only be used by one person/pc at same time the original owner have more privileges, if you want to play cooperative in two pc you need two games.

I was afraid that was the case. Thanks for the help. I guess we will stick to Titan Quest at the moment until the Winter sale hits us and I can get copies for cheap.
