I am having trouble connecting to Steam on Windows 10 (Home Edition) after updating Windows on 25-Sep-2017. This is what the log says:

I also noticed a few other apps like Kaspersky and Driver Easy are failing to connect to their servers to install updates.

I can confirm that another computer in this same network running Mac OS X is NOT having problems with Steam.

By the way, the -tcp trick didn't work:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp

What can I do?

Internet Properties -> Connections -> LAN Settings

Make sure that in Automatic Configuration the Automatically detect settings box stays UNCHECKED.
