Same issue here, I had the same issue yesterday for few a hours (originally thought it was the game I played). Currently login problems and unable to connect to any gaming servers. Today there seems to be no end to the issue and all games are affected for me as soon as I have to go join an online server, already 5 hours trying to get it fixed and atm convinced it is not an issue on my side I can fix but Steam itself.

I searched and searched and finally found this new method and it actually worked guys!! I'm finally back in!!!

Go to Control panel, Network and Internet, Internet options, Connections tab, LAN setting, uncheck automatically detect setting.
