is it safe to use steam on a public W-lan ?
i will be away when the winter sale starts , the hotel has wlan , is it safe to use my laptop to buy games in a hotel W-Lan?

Yes, because steam has a protector for that kind of stuff.

any public network can be a honeypot, even legitimate businesses, if that happens, all non-secure data sent an interceptor can get all your passwords. I don't do ♥♥♥♥ with important data outside of the home.

i always just use steam wallet codes or Paysafecard but thanks
and i always check for the two beep sounds at a salesdesk
