Uninstall not freeing up disk space. PLESE HELP!
So I ran into a bug that stopped the accept button from popping up. After switching accounts, restarting my pc and verifying my game cache I tried uninstalling and re-installing csgo. None of this fixed the problem. I then joined a surf server and began downloading the map, which went fine. While downloading the 2nd map my game crashed. When I went to open it again the popup appeared for downloading csgo. Now I don't have enough room on my SSD. Ive tried uninstalling a bunch of steam games through steam but this has not affected the room on my SSD.

Can anyone tell me whats going on and how I can fix it?

I only know enough to get by with my pc and certainly not enough to find out whats going on. I really need someones help.

Go to the Steam/Steam Apps/Common folder and see if the game you uninstalled have any remaining files to delete. If they do just click on them once and press Shift+Del. (or DEL) on your keyboard.

use WinDirStat[windirstat.net], it will scan the entire drive and show you exactly what directories / files are using space.

Just go to the game folder, and delete it, then go to Steam Client and verify game cache to redownload it.

Or again, just delete the game manually to rid it from the system.
