Windows 10 update messed up steam games, steam games not launching

A windows 10 update is messed up for me at least and now I can't launch any good games on steam, although I can launch a bunch of other games. I got skyrim the other night just before the update and it was fine but the update then made it so that I can't launch it. Happens with Warframe although I think that's a different issue, assassins creed rogue, Watch Dogs 2, and a bunch of other games I haven't checked if they work yet. I click play on skyrim for example and on the side where it says all the games it says running for a few seconds and then just stops. This seriously needs to be sorted out, I payed good money for these games. I would like Steam mods to reply and help me further but really anyone can. Please help, this is getting out of hand. I've tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them and it still does the exact same thing. I've tried everything I can think of and even asked friends and other people but everything I've done didn't work. To anyone replying I'm not exactly a computer guy so try not to make anything confusing, I'd appreciate it :).

Check all your drivers, the big Windows updates tend to wipe them and being replaced by outdated and rather basic ones.

Not sure what Steam moderators are supposed to do here, as they are users like you. They are not Valve employees.
Steam also did not make the Windows update.

There's two possibilities...

1. The game's DRM is so intrusive, it triggers Windows 10's own security measures.

2. The game needs to be run as administrator and you need to turn off full screen optimization and high DPI scaling.

Same problem for me, I've updated drivers, reinstalled Steam, tried running as an administrator, tried steamerrorreporter, tried the .blob thing, done the steam.exe.old thing, stopped steam in task manager, diabled firewall and AVG and I don't know how many other suggestions and I'm still just getting a momentary dialogue box appear briefly when I try to run a game (except for Skyrim which seems to work). Are Steam likely to be working on a fix for this?

Oh yes and also tried every game in every compatability mode

And I've just tried Origin which does the same - nothing launches. Also. now rolled back windows update but it still won't work!

Origin doesn't even launch for me because some system 32 error. Some games do work for me, like how skyrim works for you, but seriously the majority of my games don't, and I really want this fixed. Even a game I bought after the update doesn't even work, A.O.T Wings Of Freedom.
