Steam won't open after installing Geforce Experience

I'm not exactly sure why I can't open steam but i've noticed that it stopped working right after I installed Geforce. Can someone help with that issue? I can't even open steam games via geforce.

The "Experience" is usually the first thing I remove when I download new drivers. It's garbage.

What exactly happens when you attempt to open steam? Also, of course they can't play "via geforce" because steam has to be on for your games to run.

You can try reinstalling the Steam client - just the client, not the games obviosuly. Find that at the store page "install steam" and it should replace the old install. But I'd bet money that it's just the Experience being the garbage program it is.

1. Run steam as an administrator

2. Validate steam

3. Go into task manager and shut steam down then re open it

thank you this was helpful. and when i open steam, nothing would happen it wouldn't register. but i got it to work, i just had to restart!
