Steam refuses to let me download Nioh: Complete edition.

It just stops downloading after a couple of seconds, it downloaded up to 8GB, and it would be done already by now but it just won't let me download it. Any way to fix this?

Have you tried clearing the download cache; changing download region under [Steam > Settings > Downloads] ?

When I look, it seems Nioh takes 75 867 MB from my disk E:\ while the download itself was 29.3 GB (compressed)

How do I clear the download cache?

It was just downloading smooth and it downloaded .3 GB in like a minute... If it would just DOWNLOAD IT'D BE DONE SO QUICK ;I

I had this problem a month ago. I ended up having to refund it as no solution was found. I've since bought games and they downloaded just fine. Had 1 gig open space as well. No idea what the problem is. Tried all the normal fixes, cache, attempting to download to another drive, turned off firewall and antivirus. Would just stop downloading at the s7ame gigs each time. Gave up on it

What antivirus do you have? I've got AVG. That was only thing I could suspect at the time.

I got Avast Free Antivirus but its not giving me any alerts.

It keeps just starting back up then stopping so maybe if I just close steam and wait a while it'll do it in the backround.

Yeah same I meant avast. 64 bit here to. All my drivers were up to date. Although that shouldn't have had any impact just downloading the game. Never had a problem like that before or since. Hopefully you find a fix. Looks like a decent game but I found no solutions to it. Never had a problem just downloading a game from steam. Another possibility could of been a very aggressive drm but I'm just guessing now

It´s not only you. I have the same problem at this moment. Started to download Elex with my 10 MB/s and than it just stopped...turned it on again...stoped after a few sec.
Than it was not even starting and now i´m downloading with 300 KB/s wtf

Another note, mine kept stopping at 8 gig which is similar and ironic. Has to be something that's funky right at that mark. Think I tried downloading it a dozen times trying different fixes. Just never got past 8 gigs. Something I didn't try was changing the download region. Might be worth a try.

Mine keeps starting up and turning off, its downloading REALLY FAST when it downloads, about .1 GB every minute that its working. I guess the best thing will be to just inform Steam of whats going on via social media, wait for it to fix, and then download. Until then my friends! And thank you all for being so helpful!
