Is it fake? Or does someone know your login/password and is triggering a reset?

(Which fails because you still have access to your email)

EDIT: Do you use steam guard? Mobile authenticator?

No one know it. How do I initiate this procedure by my own? All codes, which I can request, contains only 5 symbols.

Backup codes have 7 characters; recovery code has 6.

Do what @f0ru said, then it wouldn't matter who sent what from where

It is better to assume the worse so that you can be prepared. It also is the legitimate domain of the email address.

If mail actually comes from support in such scenario there may be two factors:
someone know your login name and password & try to reset
or
someone access old support messages which directly related to any change in email id{ primary - secondary } means some one accessing your primary email id .
