Games Removed from Steam
I noticed quite a few Steam games removed along with their achievements. Not sure why, guessing asset flips, so . . . since I no longer have the games nor the achievements, are we going to get a refund for these deleted games?

Thanks.

Any examples? It might just be the same thing that happened before where you don't lose the games, they just don't count towards the total anymore. It happened when the game's developers did stupid things like write fake reviews for their own game, or make death threats at Gabe.

Edit - Yup, it is. The developers were using their games to abuse the market. You still have the games and their achievements, but you just can't view the achievements page.

Seems Steam is cleaning house. Three games were on my wishlist, and released today, but when I clicked them they were gone. All Zonitron Productions. So . . . there it is.

589 to 520 is a lot of money removed?

You did not lose the games. They are still in your client library if you take a look. You can still download and play all those games if you bought them before they got removed.
They just dont count for your games list anymore since they dont have a Steam Database API.
They basically count as "Free to Play" games now. Those also dont count for your games list.

How do you tell which games no longer count?

Well that is more tricky. You would have to look for a list of developers that got banned from Steam and their published games. Then compare that with your library.
But honestly i dont know where you could find such a list, Steam itself is silent about those things as always.

I only know Digital Homicide and Zonitron by name but there are a few more.

You can check all the missing games from Zonitron here: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Zonitron%20Productions

This one's a little different. 18 million lawsuit over Steam comments and reviews? Just ... wow.

Edit: The search is apparently temporary until Steam cleans house. Digital Homicide's page is completely empty.

All of the games are just stolen assets sold on the steam store, Dev has used Multiple accounts to circumvent bans, pricing against valves rules, mass achievement spam games that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with steam api (5000+ achievements in one game) etc.
