Adding retail CD game to Steam Library, with keys not being accepted ?
I own Age of Empires III: Gold Edition as a retail CD,
which I believe to be equal to AoE3: Complete Edition.

There are two different product keys, one marked as 'Age of Empires' and one 'AOE III WarChiefs'. Both keys are not accepted by the Steam Product Activation.

Can I add this game to my Steam Library without having to buy it again ? I do not wish to install and add it as a non-Steam game to my library.

If they are not Steam keys, purchase the game again.

Just checked again. The retail versions are not Steam redeemable.

Thank you, that's unfortunate.
