Maybe in game the audio settings are not set correct?

Might need to reinstall the driver.

What laptop do you have? Specs?

Switch the Mixer in Windows to TV Audio (HDMI) prior to launching any games; it's that simple.

Done that. I have played games with no problem only a few games are giving me this problem. For example skyrim, dragons dogma, dark souls prepare to die edition and hyper light drifter. Other games like hollow knight, darkest dungeon i haved played with no problem with audio at all.

Try doing a clean install of the Nvidia GPU driver. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall the driver first.

You really like saying "it's that simple", but unfortunately, it is not always that simple.

To me, it seems like the audio driver may just need reinstalled. Since he is using HDMI, it should be the HD audio driver that is part of the Nvidia package.

Or he could be having this issue with the HDMI audio driver that is part of the iGPU package. But I'd only suggest that if he was also having performance issues as well, which would also mean he hasn't set his NCP up properly.

Never install GPU HD Audio Drivers; until that and use the one the OS has. In such a case as GPUs, they never need some specialized driver, the OS already has that.

Disable every other Audio Device you do not use.

One installs the HD audio driver, if they are going to use audio through the video card. Advising against it seems counter productive. Specialized driver? I wouldn't call it that. Simply a native driver for said native hardware. Getting "specialized" (proper) drivers, rather than use Window's generic drivers, is fairly common practice.

Disabling audio devices not in use is not really necessary, unless a game is trying to choose something that is not the default. Even then, some game engines are known to attempt to use disabled sources, due to how some games choose sources live and on the fly, so fixing something like this is a bit more tricky.

Yea try it, I will bet that's the issue here. Disable all other Audio Devices and then go to then uninstall the GPU HD Audio and reboot and use the OS built in one. GPU Audio is all the same.

I have tried every recomendation you guys gave me but still not working. For example when i start skyrim and the bethesda sign apears the sound it makes sounds on the tv then the sound moves to the speakers in my laptop. If i disable the speakers no audio plays on the tv or the pc.

Before launching something, set the HDMI Audio as the Default Playback.

Hard to say; be easier if we were there.

As Bad_Motha said, make sure you have your audio default set before launching the application.

Many applications don't like sources to change on the fly, typically grabbing defaults at launch.
