Is there a way to choose which games are picked when you use 2 family share libraries?
2 people are sharing their library with me. some own the same games. the ones i have the most issue with is "skyrim" and "the binding of isaac"

both have the binding of isaac but i can only select it from one library. sadly the library that is selected is used currently. making me unable to play it even though the other person who isnt using the game also owns it.

another issue is that both people own The elder scrolls skyrim. But this time the game dident switch libraries and its stuck with the person who has no DLC while the other has all DLC. is there any way to make steam switch this around from within my library?

No.

to the best of my knowledge if two people are sharing their Libraries with you, and they both have some of the same games. You will *always* be only able to play the game of the "first person" who did the Family Share with you.

So if friend Adam shares their Library with you.. and then your second friend Ben shares their Library with you.. and they both have "Cool Game 4", you will *always* be able to only play Adam's version of "Cool Game 4" and never Ben's.

Which does lead to the poo thing where Adam is using his Library.. but Ben is not.. so now you cannot play "Cool Game 4" because you are unable to play Ben's version of that game .. even tho Ben and Adam both have it.

~to switch around i think you'd need to have them both stop Family Sharing with you and then have Ben share his game with you first.. and Adam do Family Share second.

Again that is just my understanding of it. Hopefully someone else will come along to confirm whether or not my understanding is correct.

Can I share specific games?

No, libraries are shared in their entirety. You aren't able to select specific games to share or exclude.

Additionally, for users that are borrowing multiple Steam Libraries, they will be unable to choose who they borrow a game from.

This is strange since when the other person added me to the sharing The Binding of Isaac went from adams library to Bens library. which is why i was wondering as to why. I thought maybe they would have switched because of ben having more to his version. but adam dident have the DLC for skyrim but Ben did.
