Deleting A Steam Folder In The Program Files (x86)

So I have 2 Steam folders, and would like to get ride of one of them both in the Program Files (x86) folder, the problem is, it says I need administrative permissions to delete it.
NOTE: I'm trying to delete a subfolder of Program Files (86x), not the entire thing.
Any help will be appreciated.

Are you unable to uninstall Steam the usual way?

I've already uninstalled it, but I want to delete the Steam folder

Give yourself ownership over that folder using these steps:

And in the future, don't install Steam inside the Program folders, it may lead to permission errors like this again.

Please be very careful with permission settings. Just do it for this.

If you have a separate partition (a D:\ drive), install it there.

Otherwise, anywhere outside of Program Files or Program Files (x86). It goes without saying that do NOT install it in Windows folder, as well. And do not install Steam on the desktop, it can lead to problems if you try yo uninstall it from there.

Yeah tried doing that when changing permissions, it just gives me an error and says something like "you must change these permissions immediately."

Yes I gave my user a ownership of the folder.

Then you should be able to delete that folder.

What is the error here? And what is the action that triggers the error?

It's saying I have to give myself permission to make changes to the folder.
