Deleting A Steam Folder In The Program Files (x86)

So I have 2 Steam folders, and would like to get ride of one of them both in the Program Files (x86) folder, the problem is, it says I need administrative permissions to delete it.
NOTE: I'm trying to delete a subfolder of Program Files (86x), not the entire thing.
Any help will be appreciated.

What is the error here? And what is the action that triggers the error?

It's saying I have to give myself permission to make changes to the folder.

You may have to give the usergroup "Authenticated Users" and admins full control and ownership over the folder as well.

This is odd, as I have only ever needed to give myself full control and then I can delete the folder without problem.

Try running chkdsk /f on the disk drive that your problematic Steam folder is located in.

Also have you tried deleting the folder in safe mode?

No problem, I'm glad that worked.

But since it only worked for you in safe mode, that means there was a process running in the background that was preventing you from deleting it in the first place. You might want to check this article:

you must be on the administrator account with UAC turned down. you're using too protective of settings.

Oh alright. So what kind of settings are these once again? I would like to confirm what is causing it to act up that way.

Okay so it was my UAC settings, I went back to the second Steam file, "Steam2" and renamed it just "Steam" but for some reason, it caused all everything related with that steam folder, to be deleted, such as the games, which is weird since I was using "Steam2" as my current steam launcher folder. Now I have to download all my games again, for the second time tonight. XD
