Xbox controller doesnt work on pc
I have 2 controllers, 1 is a rock candy wired controller. It worked fine as a main controller, until it stopped working. When i plugged it in, the light didnt come on(it didnt vibrate in the first place). I thought the usb port was broken or something like that. My other controller is an official xbox one controller, without bluetooth, bought from microsoft. It was at my fiendsa house for a while, so i got it back so i can use that instead if my rock candy controller, but that doesnt work either, it will vibrate when you plug it in, but the light doesnt come on, any ideas? Ive trid atleast 7 different usb cables, and about half are data transfer cables. I tried all of the usb ports on my computer. I dont have the key for windows 10 but it worked before, so idk whats going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you first plugged in the controller it should have searched for a driver. I recommend manually updating the driver for the controller.

1. Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then select Search.
2. Enter Device Manager in the search box, and then select Device Manager.
*Note Windows may ask you for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.
3. Locate and expand Microsoft Xbox One Controller.
4. Right-click the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select Update Driver Software.
5. Select Search Automatically for Updated Software.
** info is for Windows 7 & 8**
For Windows 10 -
Click the bottom-left Start button on desktop, type device manager in the search box and tap Device Manager on the menu. Follow steps 3-5

No problem. It sounds like it didn't want to update the driver when you first tried plugging it up. Happy you hear it's working.
