Sure, that DLC isn't that new but it's still free DLC with music that lots of people might have missed. It's not crazy to think that it didn't get that many downloads.
I'm sure someone at valve will notice this and fix it if it's bugged, and if it's not they will stop that javascript thing from working.
I don't think you can bring up the javascript console in the Steam client.
