How can we add user tags to some games now?
This is an example: http://store.steampowered.com/app/656290/The_Tritan_Initiative/
The plus sign is missing on some games. It seems to be that only the games that have tags that overflow the line now have the plus sign. Any ideas on how to add tags to games without the plus sign?

They probably removed the tag feature due to high amounts of spam tags it generated.

I don't think so. They combined global and individual user tags on one line. User tags are at the front and highlighted. I was able to add tags on games that showed the PLUS sign but if there are not enough tags to get to the end of the line, I can't add any.

Is this happening on any pages for bigger more popular games?
I'm wondering if this is is some restriction on some games that don't sell enough or something.

That DLC isn't even a day old yet, it could still be that.
Could be some bug also.

Temp solution i guess, In the webbrowser you can open up console and use:
ShowAppTagModal( appid )

example : ShowAppTagModal( 656290 )

or you can add it to the webbrowser address like this:
javascript:ShowAppTagModal( 656290 )

A better one would be in the client itself. You have one for that? Please say you do!

Probably not because they would need to only have a few tags and I'm sure the popular games have many, many tags.

That's a nice solution if it is indeed a bug, I'm kind of torn if it is a bug or not still. If it's some kind of restriction then it might not be a good idea to add tags to that stuff.

Sure, that DLC isn't that new but it's still free DLC with music that lots of people might have missed. It's not crazy to think that it didn't get that many downloads.

I'm sure someone at valve will notice this and fix it if it's bugged, and if it's not they will stop that javascript thing from working.

I don't think you can bring up the javascript console in the Steam client.

Here is a brand new one that works.

My guess is that this is on purpose.

It allows tags to be added to the main game, but not the DLC.

Thank you, it's a good bandaid for now. I hope Steam fixes it soon though :/

Maybe until the reviews hit a specific 'threshold' you cant do it?

edit: Nope this game only has 11 reviews
