deleting files, uninstalling games/mods is normally what you do to clear up disk space.

The Windows disk cleanup? That doesn't touch Steam at all.

Erm dude, the Windows cleanup even tells you rather precise what it cleans.

when you run diskcleanup, it asks what you want to get rid of, and there are categories you can select. It wont remove stuff you dont want removed. Normally, your cleaning up temp internet files, etc.
