Controller/Xinput Driver Issues
Hi guys,

Looking for some help with this.

I was recently testing KinoConsole (remote play streaming app) which installs a set of virtual Xbox 360 controller drivers to allow your phone to send Xinput commands to the PC.

Ever since I did this, I've been having a lot of problems using my regular PC controller. Some games work fine (e.g Bayonetta), some games don't detect the controller at all (e.g Rayman Legends) and others are somewhere inbetween (e.g Remember Me works perfectly in menus but doesn't detect the controller at all ingame, Steam Big Picture doesn't detect the D-Pad but detects every other button).

Despite uninstalling Kino Console, I still can't get my regular controller to work properly. I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling every game controller instance in Device Manager (including the hidden ones).

I suspect that the Kino driver wasn't fully uninstalled and it's somehow still being detected and preferred by some games. However, I don't know how to fix this.

Any suggestions?

For reference:

Controller:
GameSir G3s (doesn't matter if it's in wireless or wired mode). Paired in Xinput mode.

System:
Windows 10
Ryzen 1500X @ 3.5Ghz
GTX 1060
8GB RAM

Run IOBit Driver Booster and it should see the old Kino Driver, remove it.
Then uninstall all your "controllers" and reinstall them.
