Wont add seriall numbers to steam

Hi

Does somebody knows why I cant add original pc games serial number to steam exp. Bioshock 1 or Fallout 3 or Need for Speed series it wont accept the original key. Its everything legint no serielkey generator or so, its everything original legit.

Those retail versions are not keys for Steam. I think they are Games for Windows Live titles.

You would have to just add them as a non-steam game. Since they're older, you aren't buying the Steam version with those keys, only the game itself, which used to be self-sufficient.

Thanks guys! I have Resident Evil 5 also Games for Windows and it worked here the key worked. But exp Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition doestnt work here at all. Thanks anyway!

Fallout 3 was originally for Games for Windows Live, and (Without mods), Games for Windows Live is still required to play the Steam version.
