Changing operating system
I am going from Win 7 to Win 10 going to do a clean install. My concern is having to redownload gams etc and logging in. Games ect are install on a second drive but I may have to make some changes. What is the best way to make this an easy conversion.

since your steam account is on a different drive than the os it's easy , itstall win 10 64 , update it , updat chipset, gpu , storage controllers as needed , the just run steam , you should get a prompt to verify the account , that should be it ,

Is your Steam installation on the alternate drive? If so, after reinstalling Windows simply install Steam over the existing folder. It may take a while for the installer to scan the game folders, but Steam should automatically pick up everything.
I've done this twice in the past couple months due to catastrophic OS failures.

It may take several minutes if you have a lot of games installed. First thing is the installer will clear all caches, then it will scan through the steamapps folder. At this point the installer may appear to be stuck, but just let it do its thing and it will eventually finish.
