Did anything change - hardware, drivers, operating system, virus or firewall settings, etc - between the last time you were able to play and now? Your internet? Router? If you're looking at all online games, I'd suggest resetting your internet router if you can, and seeing if that helps.
Don't bother complaining to valve on what's almost certainly a hardware issue on your end.

Most likely you are having a little overheating isue. Once I know your system specs I can suggest you the best tools for checking your system temps.
This has nothing to do with Valve. If you are having a issue with a single game ask on the game forums. If you are having a issue with all your games make your own thread and ask for help with fixing the issue.

the last time my games worked wasw around 11/22/17
nothing different with hardware but i will try and check the temp if that helps
Your router or any OS or driver updates may be the problem. Lots of people have trouble with things like bitdefender, their virus scanner or firewall, even OS updates that have not been applied but have been downloaded, may be to blame. But none of this is on Steam's side.
why I'm staying with windows 7 for evar and evar.
I'd rather put up with the occasional update failure, than the daily frustration of missing all the little improvements.
That said, I've yet to run into such problems, and most other people with me. These problems are incidental.
