Steam wasn't designed to download music, it was designed to download games and DLC to the games. They that system for DLC, DLC has to be in the same folder as the game.
Selling music as DLC became a thing later on so it's not that convenient.
They might redesign how DLC works later on, who knows but until then you have to move the music yourself and then uninstall the game or the DLC.
I understand that, so I try to ignore the message "you don't download the DLC".
And I will download some of the games in my laptop PC in my desktop PC for downloading the soundtrucks.
But... Artbooks, Soundtrucks, and so on... I think they're good contents, so I wish steam will redesign to selling the contents.
OK, thank you again for your help.
For now, encourage musicians to release their work on bandcamp instead.
I have visited the website, and found some soundtrucks I have had.
It looks like a good web survice. I will serch soundtrucks by bandcamp first from now.
Really thank you again.
steam://nav/console
then initiate the
download_depot
command, it'll tell you the syntax if you don't add the appid and depotid (use the store or steamdb to get those 2 numbers)
When entered and working, you won't see a progress, but you'll be granted with the directory path being shown when done downloading.
Now, I open the console.
I will try to download a soundtruck this way.
But... I apologize for you that... It's dinner time for me.
If I will finish the test, I post the result.
I carelessly deleted both of them when I uninstalled the game.
It's good solution. A half of (and very important) probrem has been solved.
I don't have to download the basegame to my desktop computer only for download the OST and so on.
Thank you very much.
