Deleted games (Even Betas/Free Weekend) still counts towards % game completion!!
" If you earn achievements for a game that is not in your library for whatever reason, Steam still remembers them and they WILL still count. This includes achievements for games you played during a free weekend but never eventually bought!"
" In the same vein of Rule 3, it appears that removing a game by having it permanently deactivated from your account via Steam Support also does not remove the game's percentage from your AGCR. In other words, even deactivated games still count."

So if you care about your game completion stats, even a beta just made it so you could never get 100%, even if you remove it from your account.

Who else is p/o about this?

Nobody? I mean that was always the case, nothing you just wrote is new.
As soon as you get 1 achievement in a game it counts for your overall %. Thats it.
Does not matter if its FTP or a free weekend game, or a family shared title or a game removed from Steam.

A time limited beta shouldn't count.
Example: Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta
Yeah, I can remove the game from my account, but it still counts toward my game completion ratio. Since it's a beta, I can never "buy" that beta and "complete" it, even if I purchase the actual Wildlands, because the beta is under a different listing.

But BETAs usually dont have achievements anyway.
Ghost Recon Wildlands does not even has achievements on Steam like most Ubisoft games.
Show me a BETA of a game that let you earn achievements and you may have a case.
I dont know a single one.

I'll check and see if you are correct.
With over a 1000 games, it's a little hard to remember, but I seem to remember some beta games that had achievements, that were time limited.

I do know for a fact a game I have had an acheivement that you could only get if you played the game on a certian date or with a developer.

Once that game shut down, the achievement was impossible to get, so in effect, even removing the game from your steam account wouldn't get rid of that issue.

Even simple things like multiplayer only achievements that would become impossible to get if the multiplayer servers or license servers for that game were shut down.

So, I feel that my original complaint and issue with this would still be valid.
