Fps Lock in Omen Laptop Help [SOLVED]
I bought a new laptop 2 months ago and I always played with an external screen. It was all okay. But this week I am not in my home and when I opened cs: go, I couldn't get more than 60 fps there is an fps lock in OMEN by HP - 15-ce008nt I guess and I tried :
-Changing Power Plan
-Turning maximum performance from Nvidia
-Turning off vsync.
I cant understand why this laptop still trying to save battery when its plugged. When I am playing with external screen there was no FPS limit. Is it about with laptop screen or something? I need your help guys. Playing 60 fps CS: GO is not comfortable

Thank you for your attention.

I have hp omen too and I have the same problem but I solved it by going to cs go folder and then right clicked csgo.exe and then went features and then compatibility and checked disable fullscreen optimization.

I solved it too but another way. I found the problem, games are running with integrated graphic card which limits 60 always and i disabled intel card and enabled again so that removes the lock of nvidia control panel and i choose nvidia high performance card from control panel and when csgo run it has 289 fps. If you have this problem you need to try this but must do this every time that you restart pc.

try mine so you dont need to restart just for testing purposes ok?

there is a easier way to unlock the cap as well, just watch this video and if your csgo.exe app doesn't have the compatibility tab then use the second link to fix it :) gl people https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki-JDOrcI5o
