How lenient is the support on refund requests?
I have a refund request pending and I'm wondering if they would refund a game bundle that I have 128 minutes in but purchased in February, another one is something I have about 3 hours play time in and purchased June 28. It would make sense to me that these would be refunded even though they're over the requirements since I never play them and I would spend the money on games that I'll actually play.

February is a bit over the 2 weeks, don't you think?
They are very strict. Especially when you have exceeded both limits.
Next time only buy games you intend to play.
My guess is OP just "discovered" refund feature and thought he'd "try it out"

That's about right, it's stupid that I'm gonna be punished for not knowing about it, especially since the money is going to go into my steam wallet and into games I'm actually going to play.

You can use the remove function to so you don't have to look at them anymore.

I would but then it'd just be 100% wasted money

It already is.

You are not getting a refund.

Well, lesson learned.

You’re not being punished, you're outside the guidelines, it’s pretty straightforward. Your money goes to the publisher, never to return, you are looking for steam to absorb the cost themselves. Your money is gone.

It's worth a shot
The rules are for everyone.

Where Refunds Apply

The Steam refund offer, within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications on the Steam store.

Wow 40 whole dollars for a multibillion dollar company? That money is going to go straight back at them anyways

I don't see why it's solely based on playtime, the reason I haven't refunded earlier is because I didn't know about the refund

The money was already split between Valve and the devs/pubs. The money is gone.
