Cannot receive emails on yahoo when I try to access my OLD steam account when forgot password and trying to do recovery.
I did all the steps correctly, I know my old account username and email. My old account is linked with a yahoo account and when I get to the step to send an email to my associated email with my old steam account I do not receive an email. I use the page https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLoginInfo?issueid=406 to do this.

I have tried both of the possible methods, doing my old account login name, which brings up a page where it says an email has been sent to t*******@y****.c** , so I know that is correct because I know the blanks for my email.

Also when I do the other method of putting in the email, it says that it has detected it is associated with a steam account and it shows my email instead of the blank one above so I know it is correct (I do not want to release my email).

I cannot do the last method of getting text since I have not linked it with a phone number.

I have waited for 4 - 5 hours and I still have not received an email for recovery from steam. It is also not in spam or trash. I am also still getting emails since I am getting from my old facebook.
Please help, thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply though.
No idea, ask Yahoo!
A member of the Steam Team can easily assist you with this matter. Please contact them using help.steampowered.com, you can use a different e-Mail-you just need to provide proof of ownership along with other requested information. They can easily move the account to a different e-Mail and reset the password!

Yahoo does not have Valve's Steam Client blacklisted. You are giving users false information.

Errr, yes they do. Yahoo! does not receive or process email from Steams domain.

I just received an e-Mail from Steam via yahoo. Would you like me to make a YouTube video of the whole process to show how very wrong you are?

Darky I have heard that the steam support emails are blocked on some articles, maybe you are seeing the one that gives out sale info / purchases? Although I do not see the sale info / specials too on my yahoo emails but I do not know if I opt into see that though.

Okay, I live in Australia, maybe that has something to do with it. When I am on the actual website and I am not logged in it goes to au.yahoo.com . When I am in the mail it is mail.yahoo.com and sometimes it says mg.mail.yahoo.com . I am on the new layout of yahoo mail.

I don't think that has something to do with it. Try adding noreply@steampowered.com to your contacts.

It doesn't matter what you are on, you claimed Yahoo blacklisted Steam Support.

I am the guy with the problem, I am not the person you were talking to previously. When you two were talking I was on some articles. Reread our convos.

You should refresh and see that it was already corrected.

Nice edit, I'll try and do that though.

No need for comments on the edit, it was corrected a few seconds after the error was noticed.
