Go to Steam folder.
Delete everything that is seen just in that folder, EXCEPT for the following:
> Steam.exe (application)
> DepotCache (folder)
> SteamApps (folder)
> UserData (folder)
Also delete whatever is within here:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Steam
Then right click Steam.exe and click Run As Admin
This will redownload the latest Client files.
Then once Steam Client has loaded up fully, go to Settings > Account > Beta Participation > Change > Steam Beta Update > then click OK out of those, as Steam will need to Restart to apply that.
Now just as a double-check measure, re-check all of your Steam Client Settings.
Configure Controller of choice in Big Picture Mode; only enable support for the active controller.
Then exit BPM and Restart Steam Client; then try a Game.
Please note that when using a Controller via BT Adapter; you may need to use the "Generic" Controller option instead of the regular branded one, as those are meant for when using them via Wired Connection at the moment, such as DS4 or XboxOne types.
Are you having this problem too?
