DirectX error "An internal error has occured"

I am using Windows 10 64 bit and I recently reset my PC due to a memory issue (which didn't get fixed) and since this has happened I cannot play three quarters of my steam library because I always get this error when downloading directx. This error does not show up when launching normally through Steam, instead it just doesnt load up but when I manually try to install it from the game files this error message shows up. Basically, I was hoping one of you amazing gamers can help me out with this. Thanks.

go to (this computer) in the files on the top bar click on the computer and the right is the system properties click on the right side of the device manager.in the table are the graphic adapters.klikni the first thing in the graphics adapters.in the table are the drivers click on the auctalization Click on the table above to wait and search through windows update.and search

What are you on about; you can't get DX from WU.

The OP was asking about DX-SETUP, it ask where to extract...

Just put a temp folder, cause u never need it afterwards; so C:\DX is fine
Then go there and right click the DXSETUP.EXE > RUN AS ADMIN
When done, close that out and delete folder "DX"
