Slow Download Speed
I have a 60meg connection and it works perfect until I try and download rFactor 2 or AMS. Sometimes I get less than 10kb/s. I don't understand what's wrong.

Are you in UK? As i'm having the exact same damn issue. Goes to 800% then drops to 5kbps, then back to 800 5 minutes later, then back to 5 and sometimes 0% steams servers are screwed

same issue here, quebec canada
there was a recent undersea 'cut' internet cable problem. maybe your ISP or the internet gateway is affected and the remaining functional gateways are 'jammed'.

My connection was about 3 times slower in California, and RF2 worked perfect. 200 fps all day long. I'm in Oregon now.

Hi, have you tried download regions in a city further than you usually connect to, or even a different country? I am in Charlottetown, PE, Canada, and at first I connected to the nearest Canadian cities Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, and the speed was constantly less than 1MBps; even as low as 20kbps, then I changed the download region to Boston, MA in USA, and my Battlefield: BC 2 download was honestly a steady 16MBps - 21MBps (yes, mega-byte).

I hope this helps :)

Having the same issue and have tried changing regions. Will download a bit, then slows to zero.

Hi, Stomknight, I recommend continuing to attempt finding the download region that works best for you, and make sure there aren't any download restrictions set up in that same menu.

Heard from another forum post that the region "Mexico" should work good for atleast some people in UK (not so sure with other countries ofcourse). Might be worth a shot trying that region out if cant be bothered trying out all the different ones

This is what happens when a company could care less about customer service. They probably don't even work weekends anymore.
