Steam Games literally taking "more than 1 year" to download.

http://prntscr.com/gu8s6m I have decent internet and it usually takes me like 10 minutes to download a gigabyte. I just did an online speed test and I got 115mbps. It all started when my friend gifted me half life and when I tried to install I would glitch out and kept spamming "update qued" and "no internet connection." Then it suddenly jumped to finished. Sven Co op has been stuck at "more than 1 year" for atleast an hour, Please help.

show me your whole steam download screen, then I can determine your speed and go to speedtest.net to test your speed. what you need is the download speed. Take a screenshot and send the link for me please.

Its happening to my brother and I as well. Must be an issue on their end maybe they are having some outages?

I think its working now im not sure. it says 5 mins then 2 hours then 2 mins. stuff like that, Ill let you know if it spikes to like a year again

It is happening to a lot of users. There are a dozen threads in the Help & Tips forum (where this should be) and the best thing to do is to try a different download server.

Steam > Settings > Downloads

this is very true !! ..... just to add to this I had this today but got around it by just stopping the download for 5 mins then restarting .....seemed the fresh connection helped a lot as before it was 2 days or so for 20kb ...........I have gig internet and a midrange rig ........... so it isn't you .....as stated above .... there are a lot of posts about this atm ...... best wishes

Thank you guys. I tried changing my server location and I went from over 1 year to like 200 days.
