Injustice 2 can I download some of the files with the beta files?
I installed the Injustice 2 Beta which was 37GB and I have now purchased the full game today. It says I have to download 43.8GB of files and I want to know if I can use the beta files to fill in for most of the download amount. I have attempted to move the Injustice 2 Beta files from Steam\steamapps\common\Injustice2Beta over to the full game folder
(Steam\steamapps\common\Injustice2) but it doesn't recognise the files and continues to download 43.8GB. I only have a max 450kb/s speed which means I'll have to download it all again over at least 3 whole nights. Please help me

you cant mix the files, you will have to download it in full.

So out of 37GB of files, none of them will count towards the 43GB size of the entire game?

no, you need to download the full game and delete the beta files.

You can rename the Injustice2Beta folder into Injustice2 before starting the game's download, and it will shave some 9 GB off the download.
It's something I guess.

I did it yesterday and it worked fine, took 10gb off the download and I was able to play no problems straight away.

Yeah, I did it.
Nothing to be lost from it either.

I have a question, in the description it says you need 60gb, but that cant be true, how many gb do you really need? Because the gb you download are less than the ones from the description.

Saved about 10GB of downloading by dropping the beta files into the new Injustice folder.

I started to install Injustice 2 and that let Steam create a folder. Then I hit uninstall. Then I quit Steam and dropped the beta files into the newly created folder. After that when you try to install again to the same folder it will discover the beta files.

I had installed about 8GB worth but wanted to try out this. After doing what you said, it only reduced what was downloaded to 6.5GB

You have to replace the folder with the game in NOT INSTALLED state.
If you already have the download in progress it won't work.

I backed it up and uninstalled the game and then replaced the folder with game. It was in the 'Not Installed' state

Don't know what to tell you.
It worked for me and others, as you can see.
Whenever you choose to install a game, if its folder exists, it will say "Discovering existing files for <game name>".
This will take some time, since it has to check the files' contents, and if there's any missing or non-matching files, it will download them.
