Non-steam game question

If I add a non-steam game to my games library does it enable me to use controller configurations? Like say use a PS4 controller config for a Uplay game that normally uses the Xbox controller config.

Absolutely yes. Load the game as a non steam game in steam big picture mode and you can use any gamepad/controller.

Check the steam controller settings in big picture mode if you don't get native controller support.
