STEAM Account Remover HELP?
So a friend of mine who has their own STEAM Account,

used STEAM on my PC to show me some Games they have...

Problem is after they left, I removed all their Games, Deleted all their Data off STEAM & PC,

I even Un-Installed STEAM...

But when I went to re-install steam, STEAM Still agknowlages that my Friend exists on my PC...

What do I do to fix this?

When I installed STEAM, it brings up the Sign-In Screen, not the new user screen...

I need a complete Fresh STEAM, without my friend on there...

If this isn't bad enough, some how hes on my Family Settings, I never gave him access to Family

Sharring...

Any help would be great, thanks in advanced...

What exactly is the problem? Cant you sign into your Steam account? Do you have an actual problem?
This is a forum of help, not a forum of judgement ReBoot.

Copy & Paste the following code into an text editor, save the file as a .bat or .cmd:
taskkill /f /im hl1.exe taskkill /f /im hl2.exe taskkill /f /im Steam.exe REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Users /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Users /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Valve\User s /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Valve\Users /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wow6432Node\Valve\Steam /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wow6432Node\Valve /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Valve\User s /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Valve /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Valve\Steam\Users /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Valve /f REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\steam /f REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\steam /f REG DELETE HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\steam /f cd\ C: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam del /S Steam.log del /S AppUpdateStats.blob del /S GameOverlayRenderer.log del /S GameOverlayUI.exe.log del /S debug.log del /Q F logs del /Q F *.mdmp del ClientRegistry.blob rmdir /S /Q C:\Steam\appcache rmdir /S /Q C:\Steam\config rmdir /S /Q C:\Steam\userdata rmdir /S /Q C:\Steam\dumps rmdir /S /Q C:\Steam\logs echo File Deleted exit

Run your newly created file as admin, it will complete all the functions of the code provided and close.

You will need to run steam as administrator to repair the steam services.

You will be greeted with the create a new account or login to an existing account screen. You can alternatively manually delete the contents listed in the code if you have skeptisism of it.

Have a nice day!

I am not judging, im trying to understand the problem that needs to be solved.

You asked if he had "an actual problem," this basically seems like you are saying what his concerns are aren't valid. His problem is he doesn't want his friends account information of any form stored on his machine. It's a legitimate concern for the following reasons:
  • The user's account could be detected as an alt in scamming.
  • It could be game banned from Rust if deemed an alt of a cheating offender.
  • If the account that he logged in with wasn't made by him the user's account can be disabled for association with the theft of other user's accounts.

All of these concerns have occured to others and can be verified fairly easily. It's best to keep your personal computer personal these days.

Actually it's the context you used. Might want to pick better wording if you're going to be upset what you thought didn't match what you broadcasted.

Will this also fix Family Sharring?

Because the Account is now showing on other Computers of mine as well under Family Sharring...

Will this fix that as well?

Also, how come it didn't ask me for permission before adding the Account to my Family Sharring, why was it automatic?

Usually, there is a thing called Guest Accounts, but this was not the case here, it was automatically added as a regular user on my PC in Family Sharring, @_@

I will try what you have given me... Thanks...

But will this fix Family Sharring?
