Steam Link Samsung TV App
I just recently bought a Samsung UN75MU8000 here in Canada and I saw videos that you can download the steam link app in the Samsung App store. I have searched the available apps for my tv and I don't see the Steam Link App. Is it available in Canada?

Try update firmware first - if you never updated the firmware since the purchase, and auto-update is not enabled, some functions may be unavailable (firmware size approximately 1.2-1.4GB)

Ok thanks, I'll check to see if there is an update. I just installed the TV 1 week ago, and from I remember, there wasn't any firmware update found and the tv is hooked up via ethernet.

It's strange that there is no SteamLink App on MU6xxx - after all, even on half of obsolete K6xxx it present:nonplussed_creep:

It's not available in Canada apparently. I have no idea why and it doesn't seem like there are any plans to bring it here. There are ways to change your TV's store region if you don't care about Canada specific apps. I can give you more details if you like.

In countries under international sanctions of the United Nations, the EU, USA (Russia, the DPRK, Iran, etc.), the SteamLink App is available, but not in Canada? WTF with this World? :nonplussed_creep: Are ALL Canadians Putin's agents?

Well I did do a firmware update to my tv last night, OTA said there was nothing, but on the samsung canada website there is a firmware update. So I did that to no avail. This is frustrating, not that I bought the tv for that, but I actually wired my house with ethernet and I didn't leave an extra ethernet port for a PC beside my tv as I saw the Steam Link App works on Samsung TV's. This sucks.
