Scratched off steam gift card code
I accidentally scratched off the code on the back of the steam gift card. I'm a f##king idiot and cut off the upper part of the card so I can't take a pic and send it to valve support. I also don't know how to scan the barcode on the back of the card. Fortunately unlike many other gift card users who had their gift card scratched off, I'm only missing 1 letter. So I could try and guess the letters and numbers but since my wifi has a speed of a turtle that would simply take too long. Any help would be appriciated

When the whole number is illegible, it's because the plastic protective part was peeled, not properly scratched. Doing so, takes the whole number as the tape pulls the number off the cardboard card.

I've had dozens of steam wallet cards and have yet to understand how people do this...

How?? I had 5 cards at xmas and have literally tried (obviously after redeeming them) tried to scratch off the numbers, i even took the original silver off with a pen knife and tried that. I had to literally CARVE the numbers off the card to get them to start to become illegible.
