Burn backup files on disc.
Done.
Although, those files become obsolete pretty fast given they're updated frequently.
It's not rocket science. What sense would it make to be able to create a backup and not being able to use it?
But as Teutep said, games tend to get patched making those backup files outdated.
You can certainly use the installed game files instead and make your own "3rd party installer", basically creating your own backup/restore feature. However, there is probably no ready-to-use product on the market to do that for you.
You can make a backup to a dvd and then use steam's restore function to restore games from the dvd
not when the game you are backing up is tf2
Bruh you necro'd the thread for this?
who the ♥♥♥♥ puts tf2 on a disc, the game progress is on your account always lmao
