[Bug] Family View

I didn't know Family View even existed until today. I still am unsure of what it's entire purpose is.
But I do know one thing, it's decided to "activate" and prevent me from playing certain games.

When I say "activate" I mean that Family View is completely disabled and isn't set up on my account and yet it's sort of activated and I keep getting error messages telling me that the game I want to play isn't able to be played while in Family View.

I need help, I'm getting really annoyed and don't know what to do.

It's the parental lock feature, that's what Steam Family View is.

While you say it's disabled altogether, you could try enabling it and disabling it.

Sorry for the late reply.
I have tried to disabled and re-enable the setting, no changes.
I do not have the icon in the top right of my screen.

Try clearing your cache, maybe you set your age wrong.

OK I would definitely contact support. I contacted them no more than 2 weeks ago on a different account where I wanted to disable family view but didn't know the PIN. Although this is a bit different I urge you to use the same link.

Thanks for the replies, I have somehow fixed the problem.
I'm not quite sure what I did, I know that's not helpful, but I seemed to have solved the problem.
